During the Round, the Murderer has 500 seconds to kill someone. Once someone has been killed, the Detective has 2 minutes to find the body before the Murder gets away with it.
Once the Detective finds the body, the players are brought to the voting room in which the Detective must make a choice. If he chooses correctly, the Murderer is executed, and the game is over. If he chooses incorrectly, the gameplay continues for another round.
When the game begins, each of the players are assigned a role. There is one Murderer, One Detective, and the rest of the players are Players.
Playing As Murderer:
The Job of the Murderer is to kill one person per round without being caught.
To Kill: Simply select SLOT 1 and punch a player. By selecting any other slot, you can fake punch people to lead players into thinking you are not the Murderer. Once you punch a player, It will instantly kill them, and you will have 30 seconds before a cry for help is heard. During this time, you are able to move the body by dropping the block where you would like the body to be. You are only able to move the body once.
Playing As Detective:
The Job of the Detective is to find the evidence of the murder, and to locate the body once a cry for help is heard.
Once a cry for help has been heard, the Detective must find the body. They receive a tracker block which shows the distance away that the body is located. The Tracker is updated every few seconds, and will turn green when the body is within 10 blocks of your current location. Once a body is found, the Detective should punch the body, to take it to the hospital. The entire town then goes into the courtroom for the Detective to choose whom he thinks was the murderer.
To Choose: Find the corresponding block to the player number located about the Player and drop the block on the ground. They will be ignited, and their ashes will be examined to see if the executed person was the Murderer.
Playing as Player:
The Job of the Player is to stick together and avoid being murdered by the Murderer.
If a player is murderer, their screen will turn Red, and they are unable to move. Since they are dead, they are unable to talk about who killed them.
If you are not killed in a round, you have to try to prove your case that you were not the one who killed the Murderer.
I hope all of the above gameplay mechanics make sense. It is pretty easy to play once you get the hang of it and try it for yourself.

Now that you know how to play and saw the Developers, let’s see if you can handle the Murderer in The Dark.
Update 1 – Added a new shop and improved the game substantially with better items, bug fixes, and various other features. Also added Dajaroo’s map: Mayan Temple.
Update 2 – Fixed bugs with the shop. Added more taunts, added ability to have one or two murderer/detectives, Added new Lobby built by the Broken Buttons Build Team. Added support for the changes that were made in the 30 and 31 snapshots.
Version 1.01 – Fixed Time Remove Option; Fixed In-Order map selection from breaking; Updated Spawnpoint Setter to use faster clock; Made Map Teleportation less laggy. No more relogs needed; Added Spectate option to look straight up to find who murderer is for the current round.
